What a steal at #10....or so we all thought. Bad 40 time? So what? Jerry Rice had a bad 40 time. Reminds me of the Calvin & Hobbes: "You know how Einstein got bad grades? Well mine are WORSE!"

Jeremy Maclin, but he’s just underrated, not mediocre

Todd Pinkston for me

I went to birds training camp as a kid and was one of the kids who got to help them carry their pads to practice. I walked with Todd. I still remember when he reached out to take his pads back I thought he wanted to hold my hand. He didn’t love that🙂

18

u/Mfrack103 Philadelphia Eagles 4h ago

So sick! And funny too haha

I was gonna meet Duce Staley at a card shop for a meet and greet in Conshohocken but his daughter was sick that day. So bummed.

Recently found out that my girlfriend’s boss used to be Staley’s wingman in college! And a brief walk on for the team haha

Also obsessed with Shady. As pictured here in my bedroom from when I was younger.

13

u/MemoryTime1303 4h ago

Ah yes. Shady, Maclin, Chip Kelly. My fave era of Eagles mediocrity

15

Jason Avant. Also not mediocre, but he was a WR3. His hands were insane

14

u/Mfrack103 Philadelphia Eagles 4h ago

God man, good times.

Avant, Ertz, Celek, Kelce, Ertz, Shady, Westbrook, Ertz.

We have it damn good now but it was good then too

78

Hey, he was really good for three years randomly before he broke his leg. Still remember watching that game. First time I remember being real sad over an injury that I watched live. I didn’t see the game where TD tore his acl on an interception…

30

u/cowannago Denver Broncos 5h ago

And then the next day you forgot all about it.

12

I was thinking Marty Booker. Truth be told, both Berrian and Booker were pretty good players.

14

u/ArticleGerundNoun 4h ago

Booker was pretty much the only capable offensive player on those very early 00s squads that were all defense, no offense. Led the team with only 8 TDs in 2001 and somehow got to 1000 yards that year.
